    What are aesthetic fixed braces?

    Aesthetic fixed braces are an orthodontic appliance that consists of brackets and wires that are fixed to the teeth.

    Aesthetic fixed braces with transparent brackets enable excellent functionality and speed of therapy. With this type of braces, we can correct almost all orthodontic anomalies with outstanding aesthetics.

    On average the therapy lasts a year and a half. Transparent and permanent brackets allow the braces to be almost imperceptible and to fit perfectly into the smile until the last day of therapy.

    A necessary step to determine whether you are a candidate for this type of fixed braces is the first specialist examination by our Dr. Mostarac.

    The next step is the collection of documentation necessary for therapy planning: an orthopantomogram, photo documentation, taking an impression of the teeth and casting plaster casts. All of the above is analysed and an optimal therapy plan is created, which is presented to the patient at the next visit.

    What follows is an appointment for the installation of fixed braces. Check-ups and adjustments are required every 4 to 6 weeks.
